Our mission statement

Sellium Academy is the training arm of Sellium GmbH. The provider’s mission statement applies — it is part of our quality management under AZAV and is reviewed every year.

This is a working translation. The German version of this document is the authoritative one.

Company profile

Sellium GmbH is a 360° AI agency founded in 2025 and based in Chemnitz. As an innovative provider of artificial intelligence services, we follow an “AI First” approach and support companies in extending and reshaping their business models and value chains. Our portfolio covers AI consulting, AI integration and AI training.

As a training provider, we complement our consulting and integration services with state-funded continuing education in artificial intelligence. In doing so, we combine technological expertise with hands-on teaching for the working world of tomorrow.

Our mission

Automate. Innovate.

Artificial intelligence has to be made accessible to companies in a way they can readily understand. We work on this with an interdisciplinary team of computer scientists, engineers and project managers. We enable skilled workers and employees to use AI technologies safely and competently in their working lives, and thereby strengthen their competitiveness for the long term.

Who we work with

Our services are aimed at companies that want a focused, externally guided entry into artificial intelligence. We attach importance to integrating with existing tool landscapes and to meaningfully improving existing business models. We achieve this with an approach that goes beyond GDPR compliance all the way to data sovereignty.

We offer a 360° all-round approach of AI consulting, AI integration and AI education.

Our training programmes are aimed at:

  • Training staff and skilled workers in regional small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)
  • Skilled workers and employees from the automotive, mechanical engineering and electronics sectors
  • Self-employed people and continuing education specialists in the private sector
  • Female specialists, who have so far been under-represented in technical continuing education
  • Qualified jobseekers and unemployed people from the sectors named above

Employees of public institutions are not part of our target group. Entry requirements are basic digital skills and a place of residence or work in the target regions we address.

Focus on the training and labour market

Our central aim is to strengthen our participants’ employability through forward-looking AI skills. We actively contribute to:

  • Securing the competitiveness of regional SMEs through qualified staff
  • Enabling skilled workers for digital transformation and the use of AI technologies
  • Integrating jobseekers and unemployed specialists into the labour market
  • Supporting professional integration and job security through hands-on qualification
  • Meeting the requirements of the EU AI Act (Article 4: AI literacy obligation) for companies

Customer focus

We put our customers’ expectations and needs at the centre of what we do:

  • Participants: hands-on, understandable teaching with a direct link to everyday work, with questions to the AI mentor possible around the clock
  • Companies and employers: qualified staff with applicable AI skills
  • Funding bodies: transparent, quality-assured measures with measurable results

Through regular surveys at the end of a course, a six-month follow-up survey with participants and companies on the labour market outcome, and systematic complaints management, we make sure that customer expectations are recorded and fed into a process of continuous improvement.
