The people behind Sellium Academy
Sellium Academy is the training arm of Sellium GmbH — an AI agency based in Chemnitz.
What we teach comes out of the parent company’s daily work: consulting and integration projects for mid-sized companies. This page sets out who is responsible for the courses, who teaches them and what our quality is measured against.

mission
Making artificial intelligence learnable in practice.
We are convinced that online-only formats reach their limits when it comes to putting things into practice. That is why we teach partly on site and partly online — with instructors whose careers are built on the very work they teach, and with an AI mentor of our own that supports you around the clock. Our course content is developed by specialists from industry, with didactic guidance from MIKOMI, the institute for SME cooperation at Hochschule Mittweida.

Sellium was founded in 2025 by an interdisciplinary team of computer scientists, engineers and project managers — from the region, with the clear aim of staying here and helping. What we teach in our courses we apply ourselves every day, in consulting and integration projects for mid-sized companies. Not theory, but practice from real projects.

Three external bodies certify, support and co-fund what happens in our courses.
Certified training provider under AZAV
Quality assured against a state-regulated standard and certified by the ICG certification body — which is also what makes our courses eligible for funding.
University partner MIKOMI
MIKOMI, the institute for SME cooperation at Hochschule Mittweida, supports us with the teaching methodology. Our course content is therefore developed with didactic guidance as well as subject expertise.
Co-funded through the ESF+
The KI-Architekt course is part of a funding programme co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+). The reduced price is already included in the course fee — you do not need to file a separate application.

The projects behind the teaching
Sellium GmbH supports mid-sized companies in putting AI to work. What we teach in the courses, we apply in those consulting and integration projects ourselves — the course content comes out of that work.
